
DR RASHIKA PERERA GOMEZ
Dr Rashika Perera Gomez, Clinical Psychologist, is the Founder and Owner of Open Mind Psych. She has her Bachelor of Arts (Psychology Honours) from Carleton College, USA, and her Master of Clinical Psychology and PhD from the University of Melbourne.

Rashika has been working in private practice for over 13 years. She has previously worked at the University of Melbourne, the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Monash Medical Centre, and Foundation House.
​
Rashika works with patients of all ages (including children and the elderly) and a wide range of presentations including, but not limited to, anxiety and panic disorders, depression, stress, bereavement, trauma, and PTSD. Rashika also works with couples. In particular she works with veterans, new mothers, victims of domestic abuse, individuals going through separation, and adjustment issues.

Rashika is warm and compassionate and finely tuned to catering treatment towards the client’s specific needs and issues. While she uses a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy framework, she is mindful of adopting a holistic approach in treating her patients.
​
In her spare time Rashika enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing creative endeavours. She is an accomplished musician, and loves poetry, reading, and photography. She recently published her first book "Rise" a collection of poems exploring themes of loss, trials, and the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity. It is a celebration of victory, and brings home the important message that even though the sun sets, it also rises.

CORINNA TSAO
Corinna is a registered Psychologist (Master in Organisational Psychology), a Board-Approved Supervisor for training Psychologists in Australia and a Change specialist. With over 15 years experience, Corinna has worked as a crisis helpline counsellor and coach with individuals, groups and organisations experiencing challenging transitions.
Corinna assists individuals (adults and elderly), couples and families in navigating life changes and transitions such as career transitions, relationship, parenting and family dynamic adjustments and changes. Her service covers a wide range of presentations, such as, but not limited to, stress, anxiety, burnout, grief, and trauma.
Corinna empowers her clients to regain stability and resilience to be their best personal and professional self through tailored evidence-based interventions and techniques e.g. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy.
She creates safe and confidential spaces for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Additionally, she helps them develop strategies to overcome challenges and to increase their mental fitness and emotional wellbeing.
